"Hey! Wake up!"
You could feel the sharp jut of a hand poking you in the face. Swatting it away you sat up and stretched, rubbing the sleepiness from your eyes.
Jeff handed you a styrofoam takeout box.
You popped open the lid to reveal waffles and bacon, still hot.
"How did you-"
"What- just because I'm a wanted criminal I can't get some decent food?"
You grabbed a fork and quickly inhaled the waffles and bacon, Jeff watching you with an amused expression.
"You ate that like it was your last meal."
“Could be, you never know." You frowned, reaching for a bottle of water and chugging it down.
